Camden Monument Place Apartments

Let's be clear, I never want to move. I love this community, the people, EVERY employee in the front office, the cleanliness, my apartment, the attention to detail, even the maintenance!? phenomenal. I love every thing about living here and the fact that I love my actual apartment in addition? bliss. I have had 0 issues. The staff goes above and beyond. The building has security equivalent to fort Knox. It is a 2 minute walk from Fair Oaks Mall (1 min and 55 seconds actually because yes, I timed it) and a 1 minute walk from a flurry of stores I actually WANT to go to and frequented often prior to moving. Again, I love the people, the area, the location, the schools and the leasing office. I love it here.

I’ve lived here for 6 months so far and I don’t think I ever want to move. What inspired me to write this review is the fact I put in a service request at 2am this morning and by 10am they had fixed the issue. They also initially installed two different color lightbulbs and when it was pointed out had all of the same color installed within 5 minutes. They also cleaned my deck after cleaning out the dryer vent! I’ve never lived in a complex with such amazing service times and staff! Pros: -Parking is covered and behind a gate. There is always plenty of parking close to my unit. -no guest pass is required for friends and family’s cars which is amazing when last minute plans are made after office hours. -Mail is centrally located and near my unit. -office and service staff are prompt and professional with any questions or issues. -the pool and common areas are well maintained. -the apartment fixtures and finishes were installed well and are made of good quality materials. -I’ve heard a neighbor once in the 6 months I’ve lived here and it was because they were moving in. -trash can be picked up by your door or you can go to the floor trash chutes which are located throughout the building. -ceiling fans and overhead lights in every room. -plenty of storage in unit. Also option to get an inexpensive storage unit in the building. -pet friendly -the location is fantastic Cons: -carpet gets walking path marks very easily -the bathroom light and fan are on the same switch so you always have to have both on. -kitchen storage is minimal -no screen door to the patio (I bought the mesh magnet one off of Amazon and it works fine) -lazy neighbors pile trash in trash room so sometimes you can’t access the chute

I wish I could give this building (and the staff) 10 stars. I have been living in the building for about a year, and it has been an absolute pleasure. Finding the right apartment, signing the lease and getting everything set-up was painless. This group does not nickel and dime you, zero hidden fees and everyone is very upfront with the costs--I have had zero surprises in my bills. Moreover, the value for money...out of this world. This is not an inexpensive place to live, but what you are getting for your money is worth every penny (there is a fair amount services and benefits that are included in your monthly rent). A special thanks to Kevin Campbell and Heidy Steedly, these guys have made my stay amazing! In terms of the maintenance staff, all I can say is that I have been VERY impressed. As with any home, I have had a handful of issues crop-up over time; however, each and every time I have submitted a work request the repairs/fixes were done the very next day--in-fact I have never had to wait more than 24-hours to get something fixed. The apartments themselves are beautifully done. I moved into one that had been freshly remodeled. Indeed, any time I have guests over I consistently get compliments about my apartments fixtures and layout. Very modern kitchens and very nice bathrooms. Moreover, the building is always improving its amenities. Just this past month the complex installed a system whereby I can let guests into the building through a simple smartphone app. If you're looking for a new home, this place is definitely worth a look. After I visited, after looking at many other buildings, I signed the lease that day and have not once regretted my decision.

Angel, has consistently displayed an exceptional commitment to both her role and the communities she oversees. Her dedication to providing outstanding customer service is extremely admirable. Angel's professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for the needs of her clients has made me super impressed and I look forward to working w her everytime I need her services. Her ability to manage sales while maintaining a strong connection with the communities is a testament to her exceptional multitasking skills. It's evident that angel goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience for everyone she interacts with. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone I know because I’m certain she would give them the same attention and care she has given me :)

I subtracted a star because the walls are too thin if you have loud neighbors. The leasing agent, Anaiah, was wonderful, though! She explained everything clearly and kindly and she allowed me to stand in the available room at a great time to get a sense of what things would be like. I was able to make an informed decision. The room they have available now is not for me. Anaiah is very pleasant and you will like talking to her. You might not mind the noises I heard and maybe there are other rooms they have within your price range (my options are very limited because of expense).
